Thailand - The land of smiles
Thailand is a wonderful kingdom, with Buddhist temples, exotic wildlife and spectacular islands. In the modern capital the people are friendly, so much so that Thailand is renamed the "land of smiles". Everything here is like a beautiful dream, whether it's rowing in a dinghy on clear water in a hidden cave, diving into the water to discover aquatic plants and animals, visiting traditional fishing villages, exploring such exotic flora and fauna or just lying in the sun in total relaxation.
Weather: The best period is from December to April, when the North East Monsoon blows. In fact it corresponds to the dry season, with rare rainfall, many hours of sunshine and constant wind between 10 and 15 knots. There are no tropical storms or cyclones at any time of the year.
Temperatures: Maximum 30°C - Minimum 24°C, water 29/30°.
Security: The entry visa is issued upon arrival at the airport, a passport valid for at least six months is sufficient. The Phuket area is recognised as one of the safest charter destinations in the world, both at sea and on land, in islands and cities. All coasts are patrolled by numerous Thai Navy Coast Guard and Water Police vessels.
