Egadi islands

The Egadi islands, wild and rich in history, are surrounded by a crystalline sea with white beaches and steep coasts, where there are deep caves dug into the tuff, between cultivation of capers, fruit trees, vineyards and rare Mediterranean plants. The archipelago includes three main islands, Favignana (butterfly-shaped and the mythical landing place of Ulysses), Levanzo (the smallest and wildest of the Egadi islands which reserves, between trekking and sea trips, a real delight: a visit to the Neolithic paintings of the Grotta di Genovese), Marettimo (green and mountainous, rich in water sources and spectacular sea caves) and two large rocks, Maraone and Formica. The Egadi Islands host the largest nature reserve in Italy and careful and aware tourism.

 

Saturday - Day 1
Boarding at 17.00 , accomodation in your cabin, food provisioning (The supermarket makes home delivery at no extra cost). Stowage and briefing. In the evening, walk to the historic center of Marsala. Dinner on board or at a local restaurant.

Sunday - Day 2
Sailing at 9.30, after breakfast. Hoisted the sails, route to Favignana, which is 2h of sailing from the port of Marsala. Visit to the first bays of the island in crystal clear water of the Europe's largest protected marine park between fishes and amazing underwater vegetation with a lot of sun. Drinks, lunch. During afternoon we'll get to the cove where we'll spend the night. Dinner.

Monday - Day 3
After breakfast sailing to island's coves (snorkelling, drinks, lunch, music, fun and relax). Afterwards you will decide whether to spend the night in the marina in the port of Favignana or stay at anchor. Dinner on board or at a local restaurant.

Tuesday - Day 4
After breakfast route to Levanzo island which is about 1 hour from Favignana. We will visit the picturesque coves in a scenery that gives unique feelings. We'll continue with some drinks, lunch and later on we'll visit the fishermen village. Dinner on board or at a local restaurant, night at anchor.

Wednesday - Day 5
After breakfast sailing, drinks, lunch and route to Marettimo (the most distant and wild island of aegadian archipelago). Arrival scheduled after a couple of hours of navigation. Brief stop for a swim in the shimmering waters of Punta Bassana and then head to the Marina for the night (water and electrical current provisioning for the boat). Dinner on board or at a local restaurant.

Thursday - Day 6
After breakfast you'll have the possibility to do the circumnavigation to visit the suggestive caves between the colors and the fragrances of the island with the marina boat. Part of the island is integral reserve and navigation is not allowed. At your return, scheduled at 13.00 , we'll sail to punta troia bay where we'll spend the night. From the promontory, where the saracen castle stands, the sight ranges over breathtaking sunsets of western Sicily. Dinner on board.

Friday - Day 7
Breakfast, swimminh, route to Favignana at 11.00, where we will arrive for lunch and visit the last and the most beautiful island cave. Departure and come back to Marsala at 16.30. We'll spend our night in the marina after spending the evening in the historic center of Marsala.

Sabato - Giorno 8
Atterraggio alle 10.00.

From June to September. 1 or more weeks cruises. Egadi islands, wild and rich in history, are surrounded by a crystal clear sea lapping small white beaches and steep shores, where deep caves dug in the tuff open up, between crops of capers, fruit trees, wineyards and rare mediterranean plants.

N.B. Itinerary is subject to modifications without any notice for technical and/or weather reasons. It is upon skipper’s decision.

 

Application fee: €. 40,00 per person (mandatory)
Application fee includes Travel Insurance policy (health and luggage) “Navale sos”, by “Pronto Assistance Servizi S.c.r.l.”. The policy supplies medical and legal assistance, interpreter assistance if needed, return of the traveller and relatives, medical expenses coverage, etc. using the “Ima Italia Assistance Spa” circuit. It also guarantees luggage policy for fire and theft coverage up to 750,00 Euro.

Trip cancellation/interruption and additional coverages insurance (optional):
Travel cancellation/interruption and additional coverages insurance (“SKIPPER & CHARTER”) is equal to 2.6% of travel package amount and has to be issued within 7 days from reservation.

Itinerario

PROGRAMMA

Sabato - Giorno 1
Imbarco alle ore 17.00 al porticciolo turistico di Marsala, sistemazione in cabina, supermercato per cambusa (il supermercato effettua la consegna a domicilio senza costi aggiuntivi). Stivaggio cambusa e briefing. Alla sera passeggiata per il centro storico di Marsala. Cena a bordo o ristorante tipico. Notte in porto a Marsala.

Domenica - Giorno 2
Si salpa alle ore 9.30, dopo la colazione. Issate le vele, prua su Favignana, che dista 2h di navigazione dal porto di Marsala. Visita delle prime baie dell'isola nell' acqua cristallina del parco dell’area marina protetta più grande d’europa tra i pesci e la meravigliosa vegetazione sottomarina con tanto sole. Aperitivo, pranzo. Nel pomeriggio ci sposteremo nella cala dove passeremo la notte. Cena a bordo.

Lunedì - Giorno 3
Dopo la colazione, veleggiata tra le cale dell’isola (snorkeling, aperitivo, pranzo, musica, divertimento e relax). Cena a bordo o ristorante. Notte in porto, per potere visitare il paese, la tonnara Florio e per vivere le sue serate di festa.

Martedì - Giorno 4
In mattinata rotta su Levanzo, la più piccola e selvaggia delle Isole Egadi, che dista 1h circa da Favignana. Visiteremo le cale suggestive in uno scenario che regala sensazioni uniche. Proseguiremo con l’aperitivo, il pranzo e successivamente visiteremo il villaggio dei pescatori. Cena a bordo o ristorante. 

Mercoledì - Giorno 5
In mattinata si salpa alla volta di Marettimo, un’isola verde, ricca di sorgenti e splendide grotte marine. Arrivo previsto dopo un paio di ore di navigazione. Gli appassionati di subacquea avranno modo di esplorare le innumerevoli cavità marine che circondano questo paradiso. Dopo un’intensa giornata di mare, un fresco aperitivo ammirando il tramonto, in attesa della cena in un ristorante locale. La serata è all’insegna della musica presso la Scaletta,un locale dalla tipica atmosfera marina, affacciato sul porto.  

Giovedì - Giorno 6
Dopo la colazione, a bordo del barchino del porticciolo, avrete la possibilità di fare il periplo dell'isola per visitare le suggestive grotte scavate nelle roccia ed ammirare la riserva integrale di Cala Bianca e Punta Libeccio, dove non è consentita la navigazione. Al vostro ritorno, previsto alle ore 13.00, si salpa per continuare la giornata in una baia dell’isola con infiniti bagni nelle splendide acque blu.  Aperitivo al tramonto in attesa della cena a bordo, accompagnata da buona musica in totale relax.

Venerdì - Giorno 7
Colazione, bagno, partenza alle 11.00 per Favignana, dove arriveremo per pranzo e visiteremo le ultime calette. Nel primo pomeriggio rotta di rientro su Marsala. Passeremo la notte in marina dopo aver trascorso la serata nel centro storico di Marsala.

Sabato - Giorno 8
Sbarco previsto alle ore 09.30.
